Contains accounts for the settling of George Washington's estate, particularly those accounts kept by executors Bushrod Washington and Lawrence Lewis during the years of the so-called friendly suit beginning in 1820. The original ledger was a gift to the U.S. Naval Academy Museum from Richard T. Crane on 5 December 1918. Mentioned in: The Estate of George Washington, Deceased / by Eugene E. Prussing.
